What is a Power Management System?
A Power Management System controls the power balance and power units in the vessel's power plant. The core task is to keep the vessel safe and operational at all times, and at the same enabling the crew to operate more efficiently.
PMS includes functionality such as generator start/stop commands and circuit breaker control to advanced load management and blackout handling. The system supports segmentation to meet both customer and regulatory requirements.
