Blue Ctrl is an independent provider of maritime automation solutions based in Ålesund, Norway. We build the platform system integrators use to deliver automation solutions on vessels worldwide. Shipowners rely on it to operate them. Built for the full lifetime of the vessel.

Blue Ctrl was founded as a result of Ulstein Group's strategic decision to take ownership of its automation technology, rather than depend on third-party solutions. What started as project-based development evolved into a dedicated product company, based in Ålesund and built around one platform: X-CONNECT®.
